Softball Game Preview: Greene County Wildcats vs. Forrest County Agricultural Aggies

The Greene County Wildcats will start their season against the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies. First pitch is scheduled at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.

Forrest County Agricultural can't be to happy about their upcoming road match considering what happened when they opened their season on the away from home on Saturday. They fell 5-0 to West Marion. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it 13 in a row.

Forrest County Agricultural's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1.

As for Greene County, they've got a clean slate this season. Last year, they finished on the wrong side of .500 (13-14-1), but they'll be hoping to turn things around this year.

Greene County took their win against Forrest County Agricultural in their previous matchup back in February of 2022 by a conclusive 9-0. Will Greene County repeat their success, or does Forrest County Agricultural have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
