Basketball Recap: Seneca Picks Up Seventh Straight Win at Home

Seneca posted their closest victory since December 30, 2023 on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Christian Academy-Louisville Centurions out 45-42. The win was familiar territory for the Red Hawks who have now won three contests in a row.

Seneca's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Arionna Tunstall, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Janell Julue, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 boards.

Seneca smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games.

Seneca pushed their record up to 3-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. As for Christian Academy-Louisville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
