Volleyball Recap: Waterloo Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Waterloo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lexington Golden Bears. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Golden Bears when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-18.

Leading Lexington to victory were Macy Davis and Maddie Hale. Davis had eight digs and four aces, while Hale had eight digs. That's the most aces Davis has posted over her last nine contests.

Waterloo's loss dropped their record down to 5-18. As for Lexington, the victory snapped their losing streak at five matches and leaves them with a 20-22 record.

Waterloo wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Wilson on the 4th. As for Lexington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 loss against Central on the 4th.
