Football Recap: Lakeway Christian Academy Takes a Loss

After flying high against Asheville Christian Academy last Friday, Lakeway Christian Academy came back down to earth. The Lions took a blow against the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers on Friday, falling 42-10. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee football rankings (they are ranked 183rd, while the Buccaneers are ranked 32nd).

Lakeway Christian Academy now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Boyd-Buchanan, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Lakeway Christian Academy will take on rival Webb at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Boyd-Buchanan is set to challenge their familiar foe Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
