Preview: Wisdom Generals vs. Northside Panthers
Wisdom has been on the road for two straight, but on Friday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Northside Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Wisdom has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Last Saturday, Wisdom took a serious blow against Waltrip, falling 81-52. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wisdom in their matchups with Waltrip: they've now lost three in a row.
Northside can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Northbrook 68-39 at home.
It was another big night for keith Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 32 points and 10 steals. That makes it eight consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Northside's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Steel, who scored 12 points.
Wisdom's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Northside, they pushed their record up to 3-5 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home.
Wisdom strolled past Northside in their previous matchup back in January by a score of 66-47. Will Wisdom repeat their success, or does Northside have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
