Northampton has gone a perfect 8-0 against Allentown Central Catholic recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Konkrete Kids will venture away from home to challenge the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. Neither of those teams managed to put together many runs in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Monday, Northampton came up short against Nazareth Area and fell 6-2.

Meanwhile, Allentown Central Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 11-1 to Parkland.

Allentown Central Catholic saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gianna Menecola, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI. Giada Montone also deserves some recognition as she snagged her first stolen base of the season.

Allentown Central Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for Northampton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season.

Everything went Northampton's way against Allentown Central Catholic in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Northampton made off with a 14-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Konkrete Kids since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
