Basketball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Starts Season with Win Against Wellsville

Heritage Christian Academy gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They came out on top against the Wellsville Eagles by a score of 53-43. For the Chargers, this counts as revenge for the 77-57 victory the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in March.

Heritage Christian Academy's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Declan Schoff, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 13 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Trey Chambers, who posted 15 points.

Heritage Christian Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 71-41 win against Lebo on the 9th. As for Wellsville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 62-54 victory against Perry-Lecompton on the 10th.
