Basketball Recap: Josey Takes a Loss

Josey was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They lost 64-43 to the Laney Wildcats. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 462nd, while the Wildcats are ranked 99th).

Josey's defeat dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Laney, the victory was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Burke County the next time they take the court. Laney will host Burke County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, while Josey will head out to face them at 8:30 p.m. on Friday.
