Volleyball Recap: Contra Costa Christian Starts Season with Loss at Home

Contra Costa Christian unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 3-0 to the St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs on Wednesday.

While Contra Costa Christian was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into St. Vincent de Paul's winning margin in every set. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-13.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Contra Costa Christian is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Bentley at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for St. Vincent de Paul, they will head out to take on Credo on Friday.
