St. Johns is a perfect 8-0 against Pinon since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Redskins will host the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. Pinon took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on St. Johns, who comes in off a win.

On Thursday, St. Johns made easy work of Chinle and carried off a 19-2 win. The result was nothing new for the Redskins, who have now won eight contests by seven runs or more so far this season.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Pinon and Round Valley, and Round Valley kept the tradition alive. The Eagles came up short against the Elks on Tuesday, falling 12-1. The Eagles have struggled against the Elks recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost meeting.

The victory made it two in a row for St. Johns and bumps their season record up to 11-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.0 runs over those games. As for Pinon, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

St. Johns took their victory against Pinon when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 19-1 score. Will the Redskins repeat their success, or do the Eagles have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
