Soccer Recap: Rogers Gets the Win

Rogers hasn't lost a match since September 23rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Hopkins, sneaking past 2-1. Given Rogers' advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota soccer rankings (they are ranked 29th, while Hopkins is ranked 88th) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Rogers' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-3-2. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored nine goals over those three matches. As for Hopkins, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10-2.
