Basketball Recap: Hickory Flat Comes Up Short

Hickory Flat was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Ashland Blue Devils and fell 80-47. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 68-28 on Friday.

Hickory Flat's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Ashland, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Hickory Flat will take on Smithville at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ashland, they will challenge Oxford at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
