Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Sylmar turned things around against Panorama on Friday. They walked away with a 70-62 victory over the Pythons.

Sylmar's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Alex Reyes, who posted 14 points along with six boards and three steals. That's the most rebounds Reyes has posted since back in December of 2023. The team also got some help courtesy of Tim Tanner, who went 7 for 14 en route to 17 points in addition to six boards and four steals.

Meanwhile, San Fernando posted their closest win since January 22, 2024 on Friday. They had just enough and edged Reseda out 60-58.

Sylmar's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 3-13. As for San Fernando, their win bumped their record up to 7-9.
