Roman Mitchell Game Report: vs Layton

Opposing passers better start keeping an eye on Roman Mitchell: he recorded his first sack on Saturday and we're guessing he's looking for more. He also made two total tackles (1.0 for loss), helping propel West Field past Layton by a score of 27-25. We hope Mitchell's good performance is the first of many we'll see posted here on MaxPreps.com.

Looking ahead, Mitchell and West Field will venture away from home to challenge Fremont at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Silverwolves will enter the matchup having just beaten Box Elder, so the Longhorns will have to guard against a team looking to keep the ball rolling.
