Basketball Recap: Eaton Takes a Loss

Eaton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. The matchup between them and the Monroe Hornets didn't end well, with the Eaton Eagles falling 58-42. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 652nd, while the Hornets are ranked 180th).

Eaton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-16. As for Monroe, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.

As of now, neither Eaton nor Monroe have any future games scheduled.
