Volleyball Recap: True North Classical Academy Takes a Loss

True North Classical Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the King's Academy Lions. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lions this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat back in March.

True North Classical Academy might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on King's Academy: every set was decided by three points or less. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-23, 27-25.

True North Classical Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-11. As for King's Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

True North Classical Academy and King's Academy are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. After both having extra time off, the Titans and Killian will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for King's Academy, they will challenge Morningside Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
