Hanover had won ten straight home games dating back to last season and Emma Hersey did her part to make it 11 on Wednesday. The Hawks blew past the Plymouth North Eagles 3-0 thanks in part to Hersey, who had five digs and four aces. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served three or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Hanover never let Plymouth North on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16, 25-22.

Hanover's win bumped their record up to 16-3. As for Plymouth North, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Hanover didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-2 victory against Rockland on the 24th. Plymouth North has also already played their next contest (against Notre Dame Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
