Basketball Recap: Neiman Quach Key Part of a Team Effort in Argonauts Win

Garden Grove was handed a heart-breaking three-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Segerstrom on Wednesday. The Garden Grove Argonauts put the hurt on the Segerstrom Jaguars with a sharp 52-32 victory. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 57-46 two weeks ago.

Garden Grove's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Neiman Quach, who posted 18 points and eight boards. Quach is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Drue Anzai, who put up 13 points.

Garden Grove's victory bumped their record up to 14-12. As for Segerstrom, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season.

Garden Grove will square off against Ocean View at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Ocean View is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 54.5 points per game this season. As for Segerstrom, they will take on Katella at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
