Basketball Recap: Kali Takes a Loss

Kali and Alak squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Kali had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Alak Huskies by a score of 40-38. The Wolverines have struggled against the Huskies recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

Alak can attribute much of their success to Nicole Nayakik, who posted 20 points. Mabel Aguvluk was another key player, putting up eight points.

Kali's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Alak, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home.

As of now, neither Kali nor Alak have any future games scheduled.
