There's no place like home for Johnson-Brock, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Crofton Warriors 3-2.
Johnson-Brock wouldn't go down easily and took Crofton into a fifth set where they got it done with a four-point win. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-18, 22-25, 22-25, 15-11.
Johnson-Brock can attribute much of their success to Chloe Vice, who had 41 digs and two kills. Vice is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 24 or more in the last three games she's played.
Johnson-Brock is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 27-6 record this season. As for Crofton, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-7.
Johnson-Brock will square off against Oakland-Craig at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Oakland-Craig will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Johnson-Brock surely won't give up without a fight. Crofton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
