This is the second loss in a row for Edinburg and nudges their season record down to 6-10. That patch can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 6.5 runs over those games. As for Pharr-San Juan-Alamo, their win bumped their record up to 15-2-1.
Edinburg's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Pharr-San Juan-Alamo hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .368. It's a different story for Edinburg, though, as they've only averaged .190. Will they be able to contain Pharr-San Juan-Alamo's hitters?
