Grossmont kept a clean sheet against Mount Miguel on Friday. They had just enough and edged the Mount Miguel Matadors out 1-0. That's more bragging rights for the Foothillers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Grossmont is also on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-6-2 record this season. As for Mount Miguel, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grossmont has already played their next contest (against El Capitan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Mount Miguel will be playing in front of their home fans against Sweetwater at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. Sweetwater is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 2.7 goals per game this season.
