The Kapaun Mt. Carmel Crusaders will face off against the Maize South Mavericks on Tuesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Maize South will be up against a hot Kapaun Mt. Carmel team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Everything went the Crusaders' way against North on Friday as they made off with a 22-6 win. The Crusaders' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Meanwhile, Maize South made easy work of South on Friday and carried off a 12-3 victory. The Mavericks haven't had any issues with the Cougars recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Kapaun Mt. Carmel's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-9-1. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games. As for Maize South, their victory bumped their record up to 13-7-1.
