Canton has gone 8-2 against Mabank recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Canton Eagles will head out to take on the Mabank Panthers at 7:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Panthers came into the matchup with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 347th, while the Bears are ranked 805th).

Canton's defeat dropped their record down to 13-11. As for Mabank, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 13-7 record this season.

Canton came up short against Mabank in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, falling 51-44. Can Canton avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
