Volleyball Recap: John Ehret Comes Up Short

John Ehret lost against Mt. Carmel back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Patriots came up short against the Cubs, falling 3-0.

The match finished with set scores of 25-7, 25-12, 25-6.

Leading Mt. Carmel to victory were Emma Palermo and Kyleigh Smith. Palermo had seven digs and four aces, while Smith had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces Smith has posted over her last seven matchups.

John Ehret's loss dropped their record down to 16-7. As for Mt. Carmel, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 19 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-3 record this season.

John Ehret will challenge Pearl River at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mt. Carmel, they will look to defend their home court on Wednesday against Archbishop Hannan at 5:30 p.m.
