Basketball Game Preview: Tempe Buffaloes vs. Crismon Rattlers

The Tempe Buffaloes just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Crismon Rattlers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Tempe has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Tempe is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took an 88-84 hit to the loss column at the hands of Marcos de Niza. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (62), the Buffaloes still had to take the loss.

Meanwhile, Crismon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 59-58 heartbreaker at the hands of Poston Butte.

Crismon's loss dropped their record down to 5-12. As for Tempe, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-9 record this season.

Tempe beat Crismon 58-48 in their previous matchup back in November of 2024. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Crismon's Mason Brown, who went 8 of 14 from beyond the arc on his way to 24 points.
