Volleyball Recap: Bradley-Bourbonnais Boilermakers vs. Lockport Porters
Bradley-Bourbonnais was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lockport Porters. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Boilermakers of the 2-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2023.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17.
Lockport found their leader in underclassman Malley Green, who had six digs and 11 assists. Those six digs set a new season-high mark for Green.
Bradley-Bourbonnais now has a losing record at 13-14. As for Lockport, their victory was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 24-4.
Bradley-Bourbonnais will head out to square off against Stagg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Stagg has played have been within one set, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
