As a matter of fact, that's the most points Johnson has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Lance Johnson, who scored three points along with seven rebounds.

Axel Garza continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Vela, scoring 21 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. Garza hasn't dropped below 18 points for three straight games. Ej Avelar was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

Wagner's loss dropped their record down to 24-12. As for Vela, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 26 of their last 27 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 36-5 record this season.
