Softball Recap: Northampton County Starts off Right with Win over Weldon STEM

Northampton County had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They put the hurt on the Weldon STEM Chargers with a sharp 13-2 victory. The game was the first time the Jaguars have beaten the Chargers on their field since May 4, 2019.

Talia Vincent was excellent, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Tamara Garner, who went 2-for-3 with three runs.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Weldon STEM beat Northampton County by a score of 18-17 later that day.
