With a playoff win on the line, Dallas Christian rose to the challenge on Friday. They put the hurt on the Lubbock Christian Eagles with a sharp 13-2 victory. The Chargers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matches by seven runs or more this season.

Dallas Christian got a massive performance out of Zailey Freeman, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI Freeman has posted since back in March. Briar Boothe was another key player, going 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Dallas Christian has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Lubbock Christian, they moved to 24-3 with that defeat, which also ended their 13-game winning streak.
