It's playoff time, and Live Oak had no trouble coming through when it counted. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Northshore Panthers an 8-0 shutout on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won ten games by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Live Oak, bringing their record up to 28-5. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of 3.25 runs across that stretch. As for Northshore, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 34-7-1.

Live Oak will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair will be back at it again later today.
