Volleyball Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

Sterling lost against Falls City back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Jets took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Jets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Sterling was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring six points in every single set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-6.

Sterling's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Falls City, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12.

Sterling wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Pawnee City on the 11th. As for Falls City, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Nodaway-Holt on the 11th.
