West Carter proved they can win big last Friday (they won by ten) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Morgan County Cougars. The game snapped a strange streak: the last five times these teams have met, it?s been the away team that?s taken home the W.

West Carter's win bumped their record up to 3-4. As for Morgan County, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Coming up, West Carter will be playing in front of their home fans against Lewis County at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
