With a playoff game on the line, West Charlotte rose to the challenge on Friday. They never let the Erwin Warriors onto the board and left with a 58-0 victory. The Lions might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matches by 26 points or more this season.

West Charlotte found their leader in sophomore Jamouri Nichols, who threw for 192 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 35 yards.

West Charlotte's defense made their presence known, laying out Caden Ingle. three times. Sam Johnson was especially locked on to Erwin's QB and sacked him twice. West Charlotte got some further help from Michael Griffin Jr.: he forced a fumble and made eight total tackles (1.0 for loss) in addition to snagging an interception.
