Soccer Recap: Birch Run Takes a Loss

Birch Run was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 8-0 to the Powers Catholic Chargers. While losing is never fun, Birch Run can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan soccer rankings (they are ranked 440th, while Powers Catholic are ranked 41st).

Birch Run's loss dropped their record down to 3-11-2. As for Powers Catholic, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6-3.

As of now, neither Birch Run nor the Chargers have any future games scheduled.
