Basketball Recap: Littleton Extends Winning Streak to 34

Littleton put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 45-34 victory over the Pittsburg Panthers. Given the Crusaders' advantage in MaxPreps' New Hampshire basketball rankings (they are ranked third, while the Panthers are ranked 37th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Littleton pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their 16th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Pittsburg, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Littleton will host Colebrook Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Littleton's defense has only allowed 27.3 points per game this season, so Colebrook Academy's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Pittsburg, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Gorham at 5:00 p.m.
