Volleyball Recap: Durango Trailblazers vs. Legacy Longhorns

Durango lost against Legacy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Trailblazers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Longhorns. The Trailblazers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Durango had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-23, 15-25, 25-18, 25-20.

Durango's loss came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zadus Pascual, who had 15 digs and two assists.

Durango's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Legacy, they pushed their record up to 14-8 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home.

Coming up, Durango will square off against Spring Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Trailblazers are facing the Grizzlies at the right time seeing as the Grizzlies are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Legacy, they will challenge Doral Academy Red Rock at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
