Alanson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 23-7 to the Harbor Light Christian Swordsmen. On the bright side, the seven- run effort marked the Vikings' highest-scoring match to date.

Kassie Temple was cooking despite her team's loss, getting on base in both of her plate appearances with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those runs were her first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of Miyah Allain, who got on base in both of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.

Alanson's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Harbor Light Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.

Coming up, Alanson will be playing at home against Atlanta at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Harbor Light Christian, they will head out on the road to face off against Boyne Falls at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
