Volleyball Recap: Glenelg Country Comes Up Short at Home Against Annapolis Area Christian

Glenelg Country unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Annapolis Area Christian Eagles on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-13, 25-16, 25-15.

Grace Walker paced Glenelg Country's offense, picking up five kills. Walker got some help from En'Dya Durry and her ten assists. Walker also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Kristina Melton, racking up two apiece.

Annapolis Area Christian has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glenelg Country will challenge The Gunston School at 5:30 p.m. on the 10th. As for Annapolis Area Christian, they will square off against Severna Park at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
