Clovis North had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Stockdale Mustangs by a score of 6-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-2 back in February.

Clovis North's victory bumped their record up to 12-2. As for Stockdale, they moved to 10-3-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Clovis North and Stockdale will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Broncos will square off against rival Clovis East at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Stockdale is set to face off against their familiar foe Frontier at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
