After flying high against Charles Henderson last Tuesday, Houston Academy came back down to earth. The Houston Academy Raiders wound up on the wrong side of a tough 6-0 walloping at the hands of the Saint James Trojans on Thursday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Houston Academy has not been shut out since back in February.
Something new happened on Thursday as Mary Grace Hixon saw her first action of the season, playing 80 minutes against Houston Academy. Hixon made the most of the opportunity, scoring a goal and two assists. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
