Football Recap: Holt Takes a Loss

Holt fell victim to Bibb County and their airtight defense on Friday. They took a blow against the Choctaws, falling 40-0. The Ironmen haven't had much luck with the Choctaws recently, as the team has come up short the last nine times they've met.

Holt now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Bibb County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holt will welcome Pickens Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Ironmen will be up against the Pirates' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.25 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Bibb County, they will face off against Northridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
