Basketball Recap: Bryant Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Bryant, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They managed a 60-55 win over the Little Rock Christian Academy Warriors on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Hornets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Bryant got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Rj Young out in front who went 8 of 12 en route to 20 points and three steals. Young's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Rj Newton, who posted nine points and six assists.

Bryant's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 10-7. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.8 points per game. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 12-4.

Bryant will challenge Jonesboro at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Jonesboro will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Bryant surely won't give up without a fight. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, they will take on Vilonia at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Little Rock Christian Academy's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.
