Beach Channel had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 21.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 42-35 victory over the Van Buren Vee Bees. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dolphins also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Beach Channel's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-2. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.7 points per game. As for Van Buren, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-5.

Beach Channel and Van Buren's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Beach Channel and Architecture, Engineering and Construction (who has only given up 25.67 points per game) will meet at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Similarly, Van Buren will square off against Metropolitan at 4:30 p.m. on January 2, 2025, a team that's only allowed 28.29 points per game.
