Baseball Recap: Ringling Comes Up Short

Ringling fell victim to Fletcher and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 9-0. The match marked the first time this year in which the Blue Devils were not able to get on the board.

Ringling's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Fletcher, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ringling will square off against Wayne at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Wayne's pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Ringling's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Fletcher, they will face off against Big Pasture at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
