Grant came out on top against Chippewa Hills on Monday thanks in part to Payton Shoemaker's efforts. Shoemaker wasn't messing around, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off one hit. The pitching appearance was her third straight with five or more strikeouts.
