Baseball Recap: Webutuck Finds Home Field Redemption Against Rhinebeck

There's no place like home for Webutuck, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Rhinebeck Hawks on Thursday. This was payback for the Warriors, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Webutuck's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jayden Avery, who scored a run while going 2-for-3. Those two hits gave Avery a new career-high.

The victory got Webutuck back to even at 1-1.

Webutuck and Rhinebeck will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Warriors see the field they'll take on Dover at 4:15 p.m. on the 21st. As for Rhinebeck, their break will end when they face Highland at 4:15 p.m. on the 22nd.
