Soccer Recap: Munroe Comes Up Short

Munroe scored the most goals they've had this season on Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They lost 9-2 to the Walton Braves. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Munroe were already down 6-1.

Breall Shears and Alexia Torres scored both of Munroe's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Munroe's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Walton, they now have a winning record of 2-1-1.

Munroe and Walton will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next matchups. The next time the Bobcats see the pitch they'll take on Taylor County at 5:00 p.m. on December 1. As for Walton, their break will end when they face Rocky Bayou Christian at 5:00 p.m. on December 2.
