After losing to Menomonee Falls the last time they met, Mukwonago decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Indians sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Phoenix on Saturday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Lucy Sarna paced Mukwonago's offense, picking up 11 kills. Sarna got some help from Amanda Esmeier and her 15 assists. Erin Mierow controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Despite the loss, Menomonee Falls still got an impressive performance from Cassie Bruns, who had 12 assists and nine digs.

Mukwonago's win bumped their record up to 18-19. As for Menomonee Falls, the loss snapped their winning streak at seven matches and leaves them with a 29-9 record.

Mukwonago wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Oak Creek on the 18th. As for Menomonee Falls, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against New Berlin Eisenhower on the 18th.
