While Ticonderoga's win against Lake Placid wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Sentinels narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Bombers 8-6. The Sentinels haven't had any issues with the Bombers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Ticonderoga's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Lake Placid, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Ticonderoga will take on Beekmantown at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Sentinels' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 6.4 runs per game this season. As for Lake Placid, they will face off against AuSable Valley at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
